Krugman Rules! <http://members.home.net/copernicus/main.html>
You won't see him wearing tight leather pants and singing "Livin' La Vida Loca," but Massachusetts Institute of Technology (soon to be Princeton University) economics professor Paul Krugman has won his fair share of groupies. One example: "The Unofficial Paul Krugman Web page" was launched by Kevin Deenihan, a California teenager who credits Krugman's writings for giving him "ammunition against the plentiful Socialist and Free-Market airheads that yap around me."
The articles and papers on the site also appear on Krugman's own official Web page <http://web.mit.edu/krugman/www/>, but in the spirit of a true economist, Deenihan offers value-added content by archiving Krugman's work in distinct categories (Japan, currencies, economic crises, etc.). And because "social science can't afford dogma," Deenihan has put together a collection of "relatively influential folks' reactions to Krugman," including a thoughtful socialist critique and a blow-by-blow account of the ongoing debate between Krugman and economist Lester Thurow over globalization's impact on U.S. workers.
Krugman's own site includes a link to Deenihan's Web page. But lest anyone think the noted economist engages in collusive cartel behavior, the link offers this disclaimer: "I disavow any knowledge of his actions."
