U.S. Supreme Court Justice David Souter has been linked to a decision at the heart of an influence-peddling scandal rocking the New Hampshire Supreme Court, the Boston Globe reported Tuesday. The newspaper said court documents suggest that in 1987 Souter, then on New Hampshire's highest court, urged the bench to speed up the appeal of a lawsuit involving a company owned by then-state Senate Majority Leader Ed Dupont.
