Are you saying that the weapons Stalin shipped to North Korea in the
year before the Korean War started in June 1950 were--in Stalin's
mind--intended for *defensive* use only? Are you saying that Kim Il
Sung would have launched his attack had his tank strength not been
greatly multiplied?
