It would be similar to the postwar development model, the one that was implemented by the original, Keynesian Bretton Woods regime, which was replaced in 1971 by the Nixonian Dollar-Wall Street Regime. (See Peter Gowan, *The Global Gamble*.) Up until the 70s we saw real development all over the world and much interest in socialism. While it may no longer be feasible to restore the Keynesian, gold-standard model, there's no reason why a 21st century version of genuine global development can't be formulated. What we need is two things-- hope and imagination.
