Chomsky has freely admitted that his vision for life post-revolution is pretty scanty. As well all know, his strengths lie with being a very effective social critic.

Chomsky has self-identified as a libertarian socialist, in the traditional sense of that term, i.e. libertarianism as it is known around the world and not that of the Libertarian party U.S.A variety. He has also stated that he supports anarcho-syndicalism as a short term goal and anarchism as the ultimate goal.

Somewhere in here we can throw in his recent advocacy of "exploring the floor of the cage," an argument to support government interventionism over strong corporations in the short term. Needless to say, this is quite controversial among anarchist circles, with anarchists of every stripe being critical of this idea.

In a recent interview in Anarcho Syndicalist Review, Chomsky espands on his politics.

I can provide URLs for his other political writings, if anybody is interested.
