The Frederick Douglass, Frederick Engels, Ho Che Minh, Angela Davis approach to things being awful is to change the world through struggle, not some crybaby , petit bourgeois surrender in suicide. What's a matter, have you got thin skin ? Can't take it ? Give up ? Billions of workers worse off than you are not committing suicide.
On the other hand, we strugglers don't put our heads in the sand and pretend that things are not awful, that capitalism is just one happy long ride of progress to a better world, that capitalism hasn't brought us somethings that are the worst of all times.
