Little or none: (a) the Mayor has little power; (b) Livingstone has spent the last few days going round reassuring the City that he's not going to do anything to harm them and making an offer to campaign jointly on the basis that the pound is too high at the moment.

It will demonstrate that Blair is not invincible and perhaps give some encouragement to others to defy him. Some groups of trade unionists who supported Livingstone may apply some pressure to him (e.g. on tube privatisation and the fire service). More than that is impossible to predict.
