My favorite band, still very much alive, is the Dutch band The Ex. See especially their two albums with the cellist Tom Cora, _And the Weathermen Shrug Their Shoulders_ and _Scrabbling at the Lock_. Experimental music, surrealist poetry for lyrics, anarchist politics and believe it or not it rocks and screams. They give a great show, still.
