Nader Paradox

Actually, the really interesting possible outcome is the slight chance that Strom Thurmond will be the next president. How could this happen? Tie vote in the electoral college followed by a tie vote in the House of Reps (they vote by state), and then a deadlock on electing a Speaker of the House, who would become president under a situation of these two ties. If a Speaker is not available, then it becomes the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. That is Strom Thurmond. Unlikely, but not impossible.
