It *does* depend on whether politics is supposed to be a place for self-expression or an attempt to make the world a little bit better, doesn't it? Breaking Starbucks windows, not voting for the leftmost of the candidates who might win, and making political alliances with those who prefer Fidel Castro's brand of "democracy" to ours--these are all ways to move the world a little bit further to the right.

But they may make the expressive actors feel better inside, and this *is* the age of narcissism, after all...
