If Nader and the Greens want to permanently institutionalize themselves, they should immediately jump into the whole debate on the electoral college debacle and advocate replacing the electoral college with ranked voting and an instant runoff.

How about this. Nader and some lawyers go to Florida and open a court case in the district (Palm Beach?) that used some kind of ballot where there was a claim that it was confusing to push the pins for the right candidate (Buchanan got an overly large vote). There was a story (pushed by the NBC idiot last night) that this would result in a court case.
This might be right up Nader's alley. And it might work to set up a question of the electoral college system. Nader doesn't care who wins, which makes him neutral on any bias question.
