I point out that Microsoft is sponsoring a program to teach MS 
programming to high school classes, to the exclusion of other 
technologies.  The responses were intelligent and mostly reasonable, 
and wasn't just an orgy of MS bashing and linux boosting (maybe 
because it's about programming).
