In an otherwise flawless and compelling analysis, this deficient 
formulation sticks out like the proverbial sore thumb (made sore, no 
doubt, through repeated dull and dangerous labor under the whip of 
capital): the proper Spart formulation would be "like an imperialist 
dagger aimed straight at the heart of the deformed workers state of
