what precisely is silly about what has been discussed thus far, woj?  it's 
wrong to engage in a little humor every so often?  it's silly to ask those 
who denounce porn as demeaning to women to explain what exactly they 
mean?  it's wrong to subtly point out that those who denounce porn often 
seem to lack any experience with porn and, at the same time, take a swipe 
at men (especially) who watch porn.  it's sheer silliness to note that porn 
is a form of representation and is thus open to interpretation...that those 
interpretations are, at the very least, gendered?  it's just the height of 
silliness for women here at lob to get just a tad annoyed that a bunch of 
men sit around pronouncing what is and isn't demeaning for women--and that 
they do so without, til pressed, the slightest bit of cognizance of the 
porn they see all around them in other venues.  it's wrong to ask questions 
that are, essentially, questions of epistemology and ontology?
