Desperately Seeking Sources

I'm seriously thinking about doing a book on Church wealth in America. I might concentrate on the Roman Catholic Church and the Vatican Bank. Does anyone have any suggestions or sources of information that would be helpful to me.

FEW books are written on church wealth--I wonder why?
