Here's the last few day's Gallup polls--given a +/- 4 point margin of error, Gush and Bore are neck and neck, can't say who, if either is ahead. Anyone Eric Alterman's Vore Bore! piece in the Nation? --jks

Why shouldn't the Guardian headline read, "Third Way heir Gore falls

behind as voters nod off; record low turnout seen"? As Fidel said

recently, these are the two most "boring and insipid candidates in

history." The polls are volatile because no one really gives a damn
