Yoshie, last year I read an account by Greg Elich of the IAC/WWP sponsored fact finding trip to Serbia. There were a few sentences about attending (participating in ?) a press conference held by V. Seselj of the far right (sometimes called neo-fascist, has party to party links to Le Pen's and Zhiranovsky's parties), Serbian Radical Party. Leaving Jared Israel to the side of this, does Greg really feel that these freaks are suitable allies against NATO/Western domination?

Juist read the Elich piece, http://www.covertaction.org/full_text_69_04_.htm . Why no footnotes to what would be a supportive book on Bosnia, "Bosnia: Faking Democracy after Dayton, " by David Chandler, Pluto Press, 2000.

"Why is the international engagement in Bosnia and Herzegovina taking so long? In this informative analysis of the international programs to democratize Bosnia, David Chandler properly redirects attention from Bosnian failings to international agendas. It deserves urgent and serious attention by all those who care about the future of Bosnia, Balkan stability, and above all, democracy -- before the corrosive effect of justifiable cynicism takes hold. ... In this regard, it is still being stubbornly advocated that the Racak massacre of January this year, in which Serbian police executed 45 villagers, didn't really occur. The latest issue of Covert Action Quarterly(Spring-Summer 1999) still talks of "an alleged massacre in the village of Racak". (5) Gregory Elich, "Carving another Slice from Yugoslavia". (Text)
