*If* Venona transcripts are legitimate - ignore for a moment that they are the work of routine liars, one problem, among many, is that gov't provides no indication of how code names & people were paired as with alternate identification of Julius Rosenberg as Antenna & Liberal - they show that Ethel Rosenberg was involved in no espionage whatsoever and that JR was not a "nuclear spy." So *if* Venona materials are accurate, they affirm that charge of conspiracy to obtain atomic bomb info for Soviets was bogus, they prove that Feds knew ER was innocent of everything and murdered her anyway, they show that Julius Rosenberg's conviction/execution on above charge was fraudulent.
