yeah and like the german immigrants i lived with for almost a year when i was a youngin' , they utterly understood the need for the right to bear arms because when the nazi's took *their* gunz....
they were friggin there.
they remember that working class people didn't support the nazis. that they'd been struggling for various kinds of left socialisms. but all of that got shot out the window when they had no way of fighting back the storm troopers that busted into their workers' meetings, etc.
good kind people who like to hunt and live an ordinary life here in the US now. real rightwingers ya know!
