well, criminy, let's say it costs as much as a visit to the doctor. the kid's visit recently cost $40 for about an hr. of the dude's time. so, 160$/week? and i know we're probably talking a lot more money, more like 75-$100/hr yes? that's a lot of cash, even if you get a buy 3 get one free discount (©Elena) or a student discount. oh yeah, that's right, are these studs taking advantage of typically free or very low cost uni services? when i was in grad school i was told that i could take advantage of the Family Therapy Ctr when going thru divorce. I didn't but I did take advantage of free legal services provided by the law school and got divorced for free. was pretty nice of me too, since i saved the s.o.b. some cash! heh.

i thought it rather pathetic to read the preface to a published dissertation, _End of the Line_ in which the author thanks her therapist. true, grad school and diss writing does put one in high psychological stress... but!
