McReynolds/Hollis lead Gore, Bush, Nader in non-partisan poll

Hey, don't I fell stupid. Well, sort of, because the site is poorly designed. For anyone trying out SpeakOut.com to see the "presidential selector" results: First, you take a quiz that presumably allows you to determine your ideology (note: "socialist" is not an option here). THEN, you are shown results ranking various presidential candidates, at which point, if you scroll to the bottom, you can link to their "presidential selector" feature. Some questions are indeed poorly thought out, but I couldn't disagree with the results: I scored 1-2 McReynolds-Nader (85-90), with Bush at the bottom.

McReynolds still had a slight lead on Gore.

Even allowing for self-selection factors and the inherent biases of computer owners (a presumably richer, and righter, bunch than the average American), this still amazes me. Adding the McReynolds and Nader votes shows that over one-quarter of the respondents can be identified as leftists. This means that one-quarter of these people can look at the debates and watch and read the media and nowhere see their views acknowledged in any meaningful way.
