so why does this matter, if it does? what exactly do you think linux is going to tell them that will really put a fend in their bender? anything? or will developers do what they've done recently: work on creating user friendly flavors for Joe Luser? That is, won't linux, too, want to ensure success by providing products that people will buy -- (how those desires are generated and why is another story, though not unrelated).
