Source recommendations?

Could anyone recommend a couple of current and/or seminal economists or 
philosophers who write about alternative forms of capitalism, e.g., "free 
market socialism" or other types of capitalism, especially in terms of social 
functions/structure?  Any suggestions from this listserve greatly appreciated.
