NY Times, 12/2:

The latest survey by Public Opinion Strategies, a prominent Republican polling company, found that for the first time concern about "the slowdown of the economy" eclipsed that about "the threat of terrorism on U.S. soil." And the survey found the public to be far less concerned about the drive to eradicate terrorism overseas.
