-The National Lawyers Guild (an excellent organization that manages to -unite Justin, Charles, Nathan and myself) did just that a couple of -months ago: -http://www.nlg.org/post911/rightsinfo.htm -with copies in Arabic and Farsi.

Not that the Guild hasn't been doing the most excellent work (how could it not with such fine members) but this statement by Cockburn is one more example of him talking out of his ass where he can find an excuse to bash liberals. The Guild and the ACLU collaborated closely in developing our respective Know Your Rights manuals and the ACLU has been distributing theirs, just as the Guild has been distributing its version.

Why Cockburn would waste precious newspaper space in his mainstream column bashing the ACLU at a time like this is beyond me. He is so far gone it is sad.
