Through counterweights of power backed by public policy that at least give the self-interest of working families some role in the process.

Anyone who doesn't argue about how to improve and reform capitalism is irrelevant, because until such reforms are exhausted people are invaribly reluctant to look at broader alternatives. As well, those not involved in reforms are so separated from the mass of people that they have little likelihood of effecting any change.
