Ahem! Have you been in a bookstore lately? There is no shortage of crap that is designed to keep 9/11 alive for many Americans.
Let's not transfer our own feelings on the mass of average Americans.
On the other hand, I think that 9/11's effect on activism and progressive politics has been massively overstated.
