and one that substantially strengthened the American right?
-Here I must agree with you. In fact the Islamic fundamentalism one -more time was a quite convenient US ally (like in Afghanistan in -the 80´s and Indonesia in he 60´s)
If so, then I should have taken a much longer vacation from this list.
