There's nothing American (that polite code word for neoliberal) about "Tricoleur", its savage satire of marketization East and West, its powerful gender revolution (strong women who control their own images, men forced to pay for their voyeurism), or its amazing conclusion, which is directly in the tradition of your homeboy, Walter Benjamin. The shipwreck is the salvation!
