. One way to do that is to say, as a Fox News report did last night, that the Miami Herald recount is what really matters since it was the type of recount Al Gore wanted, the way he wanted it. That doesn't make sense since Gore's initial preference for recounts in only a few counties was later nullified by the Fla Supreme Court which required a statewide recount.

When the consortium recount is done, the question is what headline the New York Times will choose to put on its story.
