Jettisoning Chavez was way too easy. She was indeed thrown to the wolves but only partially because of a suspect past, her demise greases the wheels for the other meatheads and under the rock dwellers that the Bushies will be seeking for confirmation.
Don't expect the same to happen with any other appointees, I'm willing to bet this is the only one that gets withdrawn, and none lose when the floor votes come.
