FORMER LEADER OF BOSNIAN SERBS RADOVAN KASRADZIC INTENDS TO VOLUNTARILY GIVE HIMSELF UP TO THE HAGUE TRIBUNAL
Former leader of the Bosnian Serbs Radovan Karadzic intends to voluntarily give himself up to the Hague War Crimes Tribunal, a source close to Karadzic said on Wednesday. One of Karadzic's aides, who asked not to be identified, declared that the former leader of the Bosnian Serbs is ready to appear before the Hague Tribunal as a witness against ex-President of Yugoslavia Slobodan Milosevic. In return, Karadzic intends to demand that the Tribunal should mitigate his punishment. The International Tribunal at The Hague accuses Karadzic of committing war crimes in the territory of former Yugoslavia.
