Pardon my ignorance, but wasn't Zionism not accepted by all Jews when it was first instituted (as much as National Socialism wasn't accepted by all Germans)? And wasn't it started to create, or recreate, the "traditional" Jewish "homeland"? I don't know what the creators of Zionism proposed to do about the people who were already living there, anybody else have that info? (Michael P., you seem to burning up the search engines . . . .)
