<sigh> OK, Nathan, you caught with the "pragmatist" talk to which I (nor
anyone, I suspect) can mount an effective counter. "Be patient", "go
slowly", "be pragmatic" are terms that raise my hackles because the only
contexts in which I see them are ones of capitulation (slow or quick demise,
it matters little to me). And, yes, I'll agree that one can't fight a
bloody fight all the time. Thing is if you're being "pragmatic" it usually
means caving at least a bit, letting the opposition have something; if
they're strong enough, you can be sure it'll be something you would need to
make yourself stronger in the future. And where/when does the
caving/pragmatism end before it's "too late"?
