Not to mention fairly big nations like the Ukraine. Accoding to their reckoning, they supplied most of the victims and a disproportionate amount of the soldiers in the Great Russian war machine.

Belarus lost A QUARTER of its population in WWII. And now they have to deal with the aftereffects of Chernobyl and friggin' Lukashenko. Poor blighted country.
