BBC interviewer to Robert Noler (sp?) at Auckland Uni re: Jean Baudrillard -- upon hearing that Baudrillard still maintains the Gulf War never happened:
"How to put this delicately. Is this man... a bit... mad? "Well. He's French." (Chuckle from the BBC interviewer) "And he's a philosopher. So he can get away with it."
Baudrillard will be speaking at Auckland Uni, Wednesday evening.
