Florida recount study: Bush still wins

The results of the presidential election in Florida have been available for at least a month but as usual with the press, reports in today's environment have to reflect the reality of special interests, otherwise, subscribers and advertisers would not be happy and would certainly call into question the patriotism of these publications for reporting what is not considered favorable to the country. TIMING IS EVERYTHING. TRUTH IS SECONDARY.

A consortium of newspapers, including The New York Times Co., The Washington Post Co., The Wall Street Journal, The Tribune Company, CNN, The St. Petersburg Times, and The Palm Beach Post (Boston Globe, Newsday, Los Angeles Time, Ft Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel, ET AL) examined all UNCOUNTED ballots in Florida.

Utilizing the University of Chicagos National Opinion Research they ALL agreed to hold off reporting the conclusions until this week.

"I think the question is 'Will they let the mood of the country alter

their plans?' said one journalist involved in the project who spoke on

condition of anonymity. I dont think anyone wants to minimize all this

work and effort. At the same time theres a sense that now is not the

time to be writing about something that might make it look like

someone else should have been elected president." [INSIDE.COM]

If a complete RECOUNT of ALL votes, as was pursued privately had been

sucessful, GORE WOULD HAVE WON. That strategy was initially followed

but shot down in the courts. If the SUPREME COURT also had ordered

a REVOTE or RECOUNT of ALL votes - Bush would NOT have been the

president.

A REVOTE would also have included many who were disenfranchised in the first vote. And if all those who voted for Nader had the opportunity to vote again - and NOT throw their votes away, they also would have overwhelmingly voted for Gore.

According to the DRUGE REPORT, which apparently did leak the results last night, the conclusion was the same. [Drudge Report - Sun, Nov 11th] It stated:

"A vote-by-vote review of untallied ballots in the 2000 Florida

presidential election commissioned by the nation's main media outlets

shows Al Gore edged ahead of George W. Bush "under all the scenarios

for counting all undervotes and overvotes statewide," the DRUDGE REPORT

has learned."

Gore wants this behind him and spoke like the true CAPITALIST that he is (he didn't get my vote) says:

"We are a nation of laws and the presidential election of 2000 is

over," Gore said Sunday in a prepared statement. "Right now, our

country faces a great challenge as we seek to successfully combat

terrorism. I fully support President Bush's efforts to achieve that

goal.

That schmuck, Ari Fleischer says:

"The election was settled a

year ago, President Bush won and the voters have

long since moved on."

[Of course they have, if they are fans of George Bush and the New World Odor]

Finally: AGAIN:

If a complete RECOUNT of ALL votes, as was pursued privately had been

sucessful, GORE WOULD HAVE WON. That strategy was initially followed

but shot down in the courts. If the SUPREME COURT also had ordered

a REVOTE or RECOUNT of all votes - Bush would NOT have been the

president.

If Gore had been declared the winner it would have made a difference, but only in degrees. Social problems would have been more favorable to those who need them and the policies of that administration would have been more humane, but generally, they are both capitalists and their overall loyalty would still the special interests of the wealthy classes.

P.S. CNN often gets it wrong
