Your intellectual work in "framing the debate," etc. may be of more value to activists if the universe in your mind isn't so simplified as to consist of activists on one hand and "everyday folk" or "the average person" on the other hand. :-0 Nowadays, even the corporate media and political machines use a subtler approach than that to manufacturing consent. -- Yoshie
