I disagree. The existence, non-existence, more power, or less power of the Jewish or Zionist or whatever ethno/national lobby doesn't explain changes in U.S. foreign policy toward the Middle East, just as the existence, non-existence, more power, or less power of the China lobby doesn't explain changes in U.S. foreign policy toward China (e.g., Nixon's visit to China) & the rest of Asia. -- Yoshie
