Doug, what time is you interview w/hitchens?
You might ask him why he takes the sudan case as the only case that
chomsky mentioned? Chomsky's argument , it struck me, was that the sudan
was one in a whole series of examples of horrifying massacres that could
not have been carried out without American participation. So, even if
Chomsky is, let's say for the sake of argument, "wrong" in the case of the
Sudan, let's go back to the original argument and then replace Sudan with
Indonesia 1965? For starters. It would then seem that the argument
against Chomsky that he is making is quite weak.
