Why is it plausible to assume this? Why should we assume that Israeli assassinations reduce the number of Palestinians who want to attack Israel?
In January, the Israelis assassinated Thabet Thabet, a Palestinian dentist who works for the PA health ministry, known for his moderate political stance and his work with Israeli peace groups. Did that help "limit" terrorism?
I think one reason Israel is in such bad shape is that they're getting such bad advice.
