I've never been able to bring myself to joining any political party yet. Maybe I'm too picky (:->), but neither the JCP nor any socialist grouping to their left attracted me in Japan; and the same here in the States. My hope is that when a mass movement on the left arises again, the best organizers from diverse backgrounds (including the best organizers from the existing socialist groupings) will get together & create a new political party.

If Dennis had shown up at the S29 rally in D.C., he would have known that the majority of participants were young (from late-teen to thirty-something) &, if anything, inclined to anarchist sensibilities (without being ideologically committed to anarchism), far from belonging to the Workers World Party. He would have found many like-minded people with whom to network.
