A big hug to Yoshie, who states in such a fashion the truth of the matter, that
I can only add that we need to begin to believe in that socialist alternative
ourselves or all is lost. All the posters-  or the majority here, anyhow-
clearly no longer believe that a better world is really possible, that all we
can do is put the brakes on the damage done.
To you all, I say SHAME. We are the hope of the world- the greatest
responsibility rests on our shoulders in a way that means nothing anywhere else
but here.

If you hate Islamic fundamentalism, the only answer is simple: We need to be
better at organising, we need to outdo them and be sufficiently without
corruption, racism and the deadliest of all our sins: The ethno-centrism that
plagues the entire first world left, such as it is. We are not better, we are
not superior, we are richer. We are richer from their blood. Get that straight,
or else reap what bin Laden wants to sew!
