I think it's weird enough that no one seems to be worried about this expansion of military powers domestically (see for instance Wolfowitz's testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee where he suggests that Posse Comitatus be reconsidered http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A8944-2001Oct4.html), let alone the idea that _foreign_ military forces would be used to "safeguard the homeland" . . .
Are people in the US really expected to be _thankful_ for this?
