Since I'm not a subscriber to any of the aforementioned tabloids, I can't say for sure if the following would hold up under scrutiny. But it would seem to be the case that over the years, esp. during the Gulf War and after the embassy bombings, the supermarket tabloids would have been prime purveyors of anti-Saddam and perhaps even borderline anti-Arab material. All that Saddam-as-Hitler stuff was grist for the mill, no? Maybe they even took shots at Bin Laden at some point.
