just for the record, i've not complained that no one is organizing. youshie has complained though, irrc. i have frequently and forever argued that the left has a workerist notion of organizing that it needs to reassess for its racist and sexist assumption.

i complained that zak hadn't put forth a positive program. he just criticized doug. i have put forth several different programs. i have been persistently asking carrol why war is the only good time to organize the left. he has said he hasn't organized or done anything and that the war made him gleeful b/c it was an opp for the left. i've been asking him to explain that one for weeks now and i'll keep on asking why we shouldn't always be engaged in left organizing. I, for example, am involved in getting an organization off the ground to monitor policing in the neighborhood otherwise.

yes, they do make a difference. and bonuses are rilly rilly kewl too. it all goes into the college fund though!
