Being an agreeable chap, I agree with everyone on this. Something should be done, and nothing can be. I don't know how long that's been the case, but I'm pretty sure it's been so at least since the bombing started. Pointless murder will proceed apace and terrorism will not cease. LBOers didn't start it, and, given the institutional setting in which we flounder, no-one can finish it, short of drawing a chalk line round the whole species.
I don't feel guilty about not having an answer, myself - the institutional setting in which I flounder does not allow for one. And I don't feel guilty about accusing our ideological elites that what they're doing is murderous, arrogant and criminally reckless. Both propositions are true, after all, and have been for a long time.
So we'd be better off talking about the institutional setting in which we flounder.
I mean, the thing's gotta go.
