there was utterly no personal attack or personal charges. it was a question concerning a theoretical position he took regarding the need to organize sex workers differently than other kinds of workers who do "service" work. he took a position years ago and didn't defend himself then and didn't recently when i asked. when sexual harassment came up and he indicated a desire to talk about something other than the war, i asked again: why does he justify organizing sex workers differently than apple pie bakers. his framework was sexist then or, at least, indicated a severe lack of knowledge about material that is two decades old--critiques of traditional marxist feminism.
you know the rave, we had this discussion on M-Fem.
and, i'd still like that critique of Cat. MacKinnon from McDondald!
