There's too much lack of intentionality in this, Carrol. There are
people who already have economic interests in dismantling the WP and
are playing bigtime Gramscian games with the world market. I'm not
denying the counterfinality you refer too, it's very real, but we have
to trace interests and their 'authors' in the current jujitsu; not to
be reactionary, but to know which bifurcations and contestable loci
[institutions etc.] afford opportunities.
