This week on O'Reilly Network, Richard Koman interviews Lawrence Lessig about the future of the public domain. With the Supreme Court agreeing to hear the Eric Eldred case, Lessig is optimistic that the constitutional limits on copyrights will be reinstated, and the concept of public domain works will not be legislated out of existence. Lessig also discusses his Creative Commons project, which aims to make it easier for content creators to license their works for free public use. Lessig will be a keynote speaker at O'Reilly's upcoming Emerging Technology Conference, this May 13-16, in Santa Clara, Calif.
